The CoEP hosted a Christmas function at the National Wine Centre on Friday 19 December.
A great time was had by all and Tanya said a few words on her vision for the new Institute.

The staff and students at the Centre of Expertise in Photonics are excited to announce that we have been successful in a bid for $28.8 million from the Federal Government for the establishment of a new Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS).

Yinlan Ruan wins Faculty of Sciences award

Congratulations Yinlan on winning the Early Career Research Excellence Award for 2008.   The Dean for the Faculty of Sciences,  Prof Bob Hill, presented Yinlan with the award at the Faculty Christmas Celebration last week .
